About Me
My experience with innovative technologies began 20 years ago at TVOntario where I managed development projects with partners in government, education, business and media. My focus was on developing creative solutions to leverage educational and technological opportunities.
In my progressive positions at the University of Guelph, I was responsible for the establishment of world-class enterprise software and the development of unique educational programs and services. My achievements have contributed to the University being recognized as an innovative leader in technology-enabled teaching and learning.
I have a Masters of Arts in Theatre. My scholarship focuses on digital mapping applications, digital identities and community narratives. I live in downtown Guelph with my wife and 2 children, one furry dog and 5 chickens. Guelph is situated on treaty land that is steeped in rich indigenous history and home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis people today. The city sits on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron people and the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
